Key Responsibilities:


Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Supervise, train, and motivate the front desk team to ensure consistent and high-quality service to guests.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to front desk agents.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex guest issues and complaints.
• Oversee and manage the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for guests.
• Address and resolve guest complaints, requests, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of floatel services, facilities, and local attractions to assist guests.
• Communicate effectively with other floatel departments (e.g., housekeeping, food & beverage, logistics, technical).
• Ensure all front office procedures are completed accurately.
• Monitor and manage room inventory and timely availability.
• Process and reconcile daily reports, occupancy reports, management resports, housekeeping reports.
• Assist in the training of new front desk staff on flotel policies, procedures, and software systems.
• Maintain a neat, tidy, and professional front desk area.
• Be familiar with flotel emergency procedures and act as a key contact during crisis situations.
• Ensure the security of guest information and flotel property.
• Report any suspicious activity or safety hazards to management immediately.

• Maintain complete knowledge at all times of:
- All Vessel features/services, hours of operation.
-All room types, numbers, layout, décor, and locations.
-Daily house count and expected arrivals/departures.
-Room availability status for any given day.
-Scheduled daily events & activities.
• Balance all miscellaneous income departments against vouchers and property management system totals.
• Oversee the Night Audit process in the Property Management system.
• Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of Front Desk, Concierge, Tour Host, Lobby coverage, and any other department that requires assistance.


Qualifications
• STCW Basic Safety Courses
• Seafarer's Medical Certificate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fosse, OnQ).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
