Responsibilities
- Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment
- Maintain and use tools and equipment properly, including software to track repair tickets and inventory.
- Resolve product and service problems by clarifying customer's complaints.
- Explain customers of the repair services and any repair information about their device and provide quotes for the repairs.
- Inspect operation of telecommunications equipment
- Install, arrange, remove and maintain telephone equipment, wiring and associated hardware
- Repair or replace defective telephone equipment
- Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software
- Complete and maintain test and service reports
- Determine nature, cause and location of trouble.
