Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Office Administrative Assistant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. While work experience in administration would be an asset, it is not required. At HK Movers, we are willing to train enthusiastic and eager individuals who are ready to learn. Main duties include but are not limited to:

-Direct staff

-Evaluate daily operations

-Motivate staff

-Plan and control budget and expenditures

-Plan and organize daily operations

-Schedule and confirm appointments

-Manage contracts

-Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages

-Oversee the analysis of employee data and information

-Answer electronic enquiries

-Respond to employee questions and complaints

-Order office supplies and maintain inventory

-Oversee payroll administration

-Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems

-Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents

-Perform data entry

-Provide customer service

-Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field

-Maintain and manage digital database

-Perform basic bookkeeping tasks

-Consult with clients after their move to provide ongoing support (if required)

Skills Requirements:

-Education: College/CEGEP

-Experience: Will Train

-Language: English

Computer and technology knowledge:

-Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

-Google Docs

-Electronic Mail

-Social media outlets (Facebook & Instagram)
