DUTIES

  1. Establish, implement, and track day-to-day operating procedures—covering shift rosters, stock control, and quality programs.
  2. Build budgets, review income and spending, and apply cost-saving tactics to hit profit goals.
  3. Manage procurement, menu pricing, and inventory levels to keep operations efficient and profitable.
  4. Review performance, give actionable feedback, and uphold policies to sustain a high-performing workplace.
  5. Resolve guest issues and respond to inquiries to ensure satisfaction and encourage loyalty.
  6. Create and execute initiatives that elevate the dining experience and drive repeat visits.
  7. Partner with the culinary team to craft and refresh menus aligned with guest tastes and market trends.
  8. Plan and coordinate promotions, events, and marketing campaigns to increase sales and brand visibility.
  9. Secure vendor agreements and oversee supplier relationships to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.

10. Source, onboard, train, and lead team members to deliver outstanding guest service.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  1. A college diploma is required, preferably in a field related to hospitality or food and beverage service.
  2. Several years of experience in the Food Service/Hospitality sector, and previous experience as a mid-level manager would be an asset.
  3. Familiar with the operating model and details of the local catering industry.
  4. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to address staff and customer issues effectively.
  5. Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills in English.
