Ontario Tarp & Trailer Systems Inc.  is hiring 1 full-time Truck and coach technician.

 

Job Title- Truck and coach technician
Job Location- Milton, ON L9T 5J3

 

Salary-$38 per hour
Anticipate start date- As soon as possible

 

Term of employment-Permanent, Full-time 30 to 40 hours per week

 

Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Overtime, Weekend

Languages: English

 

Education
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2years

 

Experience
2 years to less than 3 years

 

Work site environment

 

Dusty, Noisy

Tasks

 

• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
• Confirm endings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
• Discuss work with supervisor.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
• Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
• Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
• Review work orders
• Test automotive systems and components
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
• Repair or replace mechanical units or components
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
