Delight Café & Wok is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Cook to join our restaurant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of Chinese dishes while ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and kitchen efficiency.

Wage: $16.50/Hour
Hours: 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week
Vacation Pay: 10 days paid vacation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese and Asian-style dishes such as fried rice, chow mein, noodle soups, and stir-fried meals.
- Follow standard recipes and portion sizes to ensure food quality and consistency.
- Adjust ingredients and flavors to meet customer requests, including mild, spicy, vegetarian, or gluten-free options.
- Help organize daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service during busy hours.
- Supervise kitchen helpers in food preparation, cutting, and cleaning tasks.
- Check and maintain food supplies, assist with ordering, and reduce waste.
- Keep the kitchen clean and follow all food safety and sanitation rules.
- Clean and maintain cooking tools, woks, and work areas at the end of each shift.
Requirements:
- Completion of high school is required.
- 6 months working experience as a Cook in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, portion control, and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
