Job Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials to build structures and frameworks
Install windows, doors, cabinets, siding, and other finish carpentry components
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
Ensure work meets local building codes and safety regulations
Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines
Maintain a clean and safe worksite
Requirements:
Valid Journeyman Carpenter certification or equivalent experience
Minimum 1 year of hands-on carpentry experience
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and work ethic
OSHA certification (preferred but not required)
