Responsibilities
Tasks
- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Schedule and coordinate work on sites
- Supervise other workers
- Adding fittings and fixtures including door handles, hinges, lock and closure
- Liaising with clients to discuss project details, budget and timeline
- Able to work on high-rise building to install windows
- Maintain, repairs and renovate residences and wooden structures in high rise buildings and houses
- Carve and assemble furniture ,cabinets shelves and other items and install them where designated.
