The job duties of this occupation included:
- Supervise and coordinate overall activities of the organization, including staff as and when required.
- Keep a check on inventory and reorder as per the requirements.
- Learning the culture of the organization along with leading and managing the staff.
- Ensure all the products are priced and displayed accurately.
- Monitoring the performance of the organization and comparing it with the set targets.
- Monitor and investigate price overrides, returns of payments, etc.
- Preparing the work schedule of the staff and delegating jobs accordingly.
- Communicate on a regular basis with upper management and other stakeholders.
- Assist in hiring and training of employees as per needs.
- Responsible for key holding and safety.
- Resolving customer complaints and providing the best customer service.
- Receiving a shipment of goods and processing the paperwork.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Perform all duties ethically and professionally to maintain workplace standards at the site.
