The job duties of this occupation included:
- Reading blueprints and reviewing installation plans and specifications.
- Taking measurements and mark the installation-specific guidelines to ensure proper fit of cabinets and fixtures.
- Installing kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities, including base cabinets, wall cabinets, pantry cabinets, sinks, countertops, and storage units.
- Connecting plumbing fixtures such as sinks, faucets, and garbage disposals and ensuring proper drainage and water supply connections.
- Apply hand and power tools to install, fix, and maintain external prefabricated products.
- Checking and correcting any gaps or imperfections in installation.
- Cleaning up work area and removing debris from installation site.
