Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of establishments engaged in wholesale and retail sales or of departments in such establishments
- Manage staff and assign duties
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
- Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale
- Develop and implement marketing strategies
- Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
- Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
- Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff
Work Location
- The job will be performed in the Mabuhay Foods Ltd located at 3369 Kingsway, Vancouver BC V5R 5K6
Rate of Pay
- You will be paid $40.87 per hour
- Your wages will be paid in Semi-Monthly
- After 12 months of employment your wage will be reviewed and adjusted (if necessary) to meet the prevailing wage rate in our region
Benefits
- You will be entitled to Two (2) weeks of paid vacation per annum
- You will be entitled to Three (5) days of sick leave per annum
Hour of Work
- Hours of work will be 6 hours a day, 5 days a week (flexible schedule)
- Any hours over 40 hours a week will be paid an overtime rate of at 1.5x the normal rate
