Location of work: Whitby, ON (L1P 0N9)
Job Duties:
-Care for children in the home, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and diapering infants.
-Plan and prepare meals, and keep the home safe and clean.
-Supervise play, rest, and daily activities, supporting the children’s health, safety, and development.
-Teach good habits like hygiene and manners, and provide learning activities such as reading, crafts, and games.
-Take children to school, appointments, and outings.
-Follow parents’ instructions for discipline and routines, and keep basic records of the children’s daily activities and well-being.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $20 for 30 hours per week
Benefit: Vacation Pay 4%
Qualifications/Skill Requirements:
- Education: Completion of Secondary School
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 7 months of working with children
- Language: Speak English, read English, write English
