Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assist in conducting various biological and other laboratory analyses, tests and record the results
- Work with the technologist to prepare for and set up various laboratory tests and perform various laboratory analyses
- Aid in collecting, recording and sorting the data from various tests conducted
- Perform analyses of data collected and preparation of reports related to findings in analyses
- Assist in conducting field research and surveys to collect data and samples from various sources
- Perform other duties as required - May be required to perform other technical procedures - Initiation, maintenance, and production of plant tissue cultures and other functions related to plant tissue culture along with preparation of stock solutions and production of culture media as required
