Northern Rockies Dental located at Fort Nelson, BC is looking for a full time Administration assistant (NOC 13112) to be a part of their team at the earliest.

Job duties
- Greet and check-in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage appointment scheduling
- Confirm appointments and follow up on recalls and cancellations
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
- Manage and update patient files using dental software
- Collect and input patient medical histories and consent forms
- Process referrals and coordinate with other dental offices when required
- Handle insurance pre-authorizations and claim submissions
- Explain treatment costs, collect payments, and generate invoices/receipts
- Follow up on outstanding claims and balances
- Reconcile daily billing and prepare financial reports for the dentist or office manager
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Coordinate with labs and suppliers for timely delivery of materials
- Ensure compliance with patient privacy regulations
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Help patients feel comfortable in the dental chair
- Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist
- Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary School is a required.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in similar field is required.
- Minimum one year of experience with Cleardent and insurance billing is preferred.
