Position:   Accounting Firm Manager

Job location: 4339 HASTINGS ST BURNABY BC V5C 2J7

Wage rate: $52.31 per hour, 40 hours per week.

Education: College Diploma in accounting or business.

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Language: Excellent knowledge of English

Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening and on weekends, if required.

Job Duties:

• Hire, train, and direct the staff members while planning, organizing and allocating work for the team.
• Prepare or coordinate the preparation of compiled financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and other relevant reports for clients using Caseware software and Jazzit templates.
• Manage workflow and client relationships.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining all aspects of client services.
• Plan, develop and organize the policies and procedures of the company.
• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns for clients and liaising with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) on audit queries related to personal and corporate tax and GST returns.
• Plan and develop action plans and standard organization procedures for work engagements to improve work efficiency.
• Onboarding new customers, reviewing client bookkeeping, and managing the workflow for tax filing.

Required Skills: Proficient in Caseware, Jazzit templets, & Cantax software; Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel; Excellent communication skills; Strong interpersonal and time management skills; Analytical skills; and Attention to detail.
