Rope Access Technicians (RAT)

 

XtremeAxis specializes in providing safe solutions for at-height projects like Anchor and BEVA inspections, construction and maintenance, and cleaning and restoration. XtremeAxis prioritizes quick estimates, easy communication, qualified technicians, excellent documentation, and thorough follow-up for client satisfaction.

 

We are currently looking for a permanent and full-time Rope Access Technician (RAT).

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Rigging of ropes for accessing high-rise buildings and other projects.
• Working at height to perform a wide variety of duties that may include but not limited to inspections, caulking, restoration work, photography, window cleaning, installations and concrete work.

 

Qualification, Skills and Experiences:

• Completion of a secondary school
• Working at Height and Work at Height skills
• Rope Access Certification preferred, (IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 or SPRAT Level 1, 2, or 3)
• Strong inspection capabilities
• Ability to maintain safety standards
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
• Experience in construction preferred
• Experience in industrial rope access projects preferred
• Must currently live in Calgary, AB or be willing to relocate

 

Language:

• Communication skills in English (Effective communication is crucial for safety and coordination.)

 

Compensation and Benefit: $36.00 to $45.00/hour (To be negotiated), 4% Vacation Pay

 

Work Location: can be various locations downtown Calgary due to the nature of our business. Our office is located at 120 Hawkwood Dr NW, Calgary, AB T3G 2V8
