Work Location: Work in employer's/ client's home. Optional accommodation is available at NO CHARGE in an event that caregiver wants to stay. However, THIS IS NOT a condition of employment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Help my father with daily personal cleanliness including bathing and grooming.
• Prepare, serve, and feed healthy meals to him.
• Observe for any changes in his behavior or health and report them to the family or doctor.
• Offer emotional support by spending quality time with him.
• Escott my father to the doctor’s clinic for his visit.
• Accompany my father for outdoor walks.
• Assisting in activities such as changing bandages, medicines, and taking samples as requested by nurse at the time of appointment.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free environment for him.
• Manage light cleaning tasks for my father, such as dusting, cleaning, making the bed, changing linens, doing laundry, and vacuuming.
• Monitor his activities and prepare notes for future references.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School.
• Previous Experience in the same field is an asset.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Punjabi speaking is an asset but not a requirement.
