Job Summary
Charlie Hamilton's Pub is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional customer service, manage staff performance, maintain efficient workflows, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house staff
- Monitor staff performance and enforce standards for service quality and appearance
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and effectively
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and table rotations during busy periods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations
- Assist in budgeting, payroll, and cost control activities
- Monitor inventory and order restaurant supplies as needed
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports for ownership/management
Requirements
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar supervisory or manager role
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
