Job Title: Retail Butcher
Work Location: 104 Albert St., Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, S0E 0Y0
Work Setting: Gas Station (with Convenience Store), Restaurant (Subway)
Wage & Benefits: $16.83/hr based on 30-36hrs/wk, 15 days paid vacation,
Overtime: overtime rate will be paid after 8hrs/day, or 40hrs/wk
Education & Experience: Not Required
Language: English
Main Duties:
- Cut, trim, and prepare different kinds of meat, poultry, fish, and shellfish for sale in the store or as customers request.
- Prepare meat for special displays and/or delivery.
- Shape and tie roasts and other meats, poultry, or fish, and sometimes wrap or package them, whether they are fresh, frozen, or already prepared.
- Keep track of inventory, record sales, and decide how much and what types of products to have, making sure everything is fresh and meets company and customer needs.
- Ensure food is stored properly.
