Drywall Installer

 

Blue Rose Construction Ltd.  is hiring 2 Drywall Installers

Business Location – 6160 127 Street, Surrey, BC, V3X3M6

Pay rate – $28.00/hour, 40 hours per week

Location of work – All over lower Mainland

Education required – High school

Experience required – 3 to 4 years of experience in the same field.

Language – Basic English

Employment terms – Full time, Permanent

Anticipation date – As soon as possible

Duties to be performed at job:

• Measuring, Cutting and Fitting drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings.
• Interpreting blueprints and performing specific procedures for installation.
• Protecting exterior corners by cutting and installing metal corner beads.
• Using compound to fill holes, joints and cracks with the help of broad knife and trowel.
• Remove and smooth out the excess compound.
• Taping over joints using tapping machine and embed tape in compound.
• Fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids and placing panels to form coffered ceilings.

 

Environment at workplace – noisy and dusty, hot and cold temperatures.

 

Physical capabilities required at work – bending, crouching and kneeling, physically demanding, large workload.
