Position Description

Position: Plumber Helper                                                                                                                                  

Type of employment: Full-Time; Permanent

No of positions: 2

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Various job sites in Lower Mainland (BC) and/or as per company’s contracts

                                                                                                                                                                         

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $25.00 per hour

Overtime, Vacation Pay, Paid Sick Leave

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the plumber with all plumbing duties, such as repairs, maintenance, and other related tasks.
  • Measure and cut the pipes and fittings in accordance with the measurements.
  • Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to the job site as needed.
  • Make sure the site is cleaned up after the job is done and surfaces are prepared.
  • Maintain strict compliance with all safety and health protocols.
  • Disassemble and remove spoiled pipes.
  • Prepare trenches for plumbing installation.
  • Help in diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues.
  • Clean and maintain tools, work areas, and plumbing vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Observe all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as directed by plumbers or site supervisors.

 

Job Requirements

  • Some relevant work experience would be an asset. However, training will be provided to candidates who have no experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
