Required Truck and Coach Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED BELOW:
- Conduct maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial trucks, coaches, and related equipment using hand and power tools.
- Perform engine overhauls, tune-ups, and general mechanical repairs.
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, clutches, front and rear axles, differentials, drivetrains, steering, suspension, and air brake systems.
- Perform vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance checks.
- Complete road tests and provide on-site or road service repairs when required.
- Operate vehicles to move them in and out of the shop.
- Maintain accurate electronic service records in accordance with company standards and Ministry of Transportation requirements.
- Liaise with parts suppliers regarding procurement and availability.
- Ensure all work complies with occupational health and safety regulations.
- May provide guidance and training to apprentices or junior technicians.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Criteria
Education: Secondary school
Work Experience: 1-7 months of work experience
Licence: Trade certification for Truck and Coach Technician from Skilled trades Ontario
Language: English
Salary: CAD$ 37.00/hour. Full-time permanent position
