Employment Requirements
- Not Less than one (1) year paid experience as a Cook
- Knowledge in Malaysian Cuisine is an added Advantage
- Able to speak, understand and write in English. Ability to speak in Malay ( Mandarin or Malay) is an added advantage but not mandatory;
- Experience in high profile Restaurants, Hotels, Government Offices is a plus
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Responsiblities
- Prepare and cook Malaysian Cuisine meals or dishes and foods
- Estimate food consumption and additionally list the requisitions of foodstuffs and kitchen supplies
- Participates in planning menus plus utilization of food surpluses leftovers, based on statistical data on number of customers, marketing conditions, popularity of various dishes.
- Make sure that all Menus is in accordance to company standards and food safety requirement;
- List all daily inventory of food supplies and make sure all equipments are working
- Create work schedules for Kitchen helpers, train and supervise kitchen helpers
- Clean the kitchen and all work areas
- Set-up buffets
