Sourcing Specialist

Location: Brampton, ON, L6Z 4N7

Work location: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Salary: 37.00 to 39.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 44 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment; Full time; Early morning, Evening, Morning, On call, Day, Weekend; Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work setting: Private sector

Responsibilities-Tasks: Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services; Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased; Develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased; Negotiate offers from suppliers; Consult with suppliers; Hire, train and supervise staff; Review quotations

Determine contract terms and conditions; Establish delivery schedules; Monitor progress of delivery schedules; Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems; Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization

Supervision: 3-4 people

Experience and specialization: Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word, Electronic mail, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, Additional information, Security and safety
