Salary - 18.50 hourly / 35 hours per Week

Terms of employment  - Permanent employment, Full time, Flexible Hours

Start date - Starts as soon as possible

Languages - English

Education - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience - 2 years to less than 3 years

Cuisine specialties – Knowledge of Turkish cuisine essential

Main Duties

  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
