Location: Scarborough, ON M1B 5R7

Salary: $19.85 hourly / 30 hours per Week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Responsibilities

• Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
• Cut carcasses, sides and quarters according to Customers' orders
• Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
• Wrap and package prepared meats
• Weigh meats for sale
• Cut poultry into parts
• Sell meats to customers
• Grind Meats
• Ensure food storage conditions are adequate
• Prepare special displays of meats and poultry products
• Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats and poultry
• Maintain sales records for inventory control and determine amount, product line and freshness of products according to company and customer requirements
• Maintain inventory of supplies
• Adhere to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and food safety standards
