Wage: $22.00 per hour (full-time position / 35 hours per week)
Location of Work: Esso Gas Station, 485 Winchester Road East, Whitby, ON L1M 1X5
Job DESCRIPTION:
- Supervise, train and coordinate duties of staff
- Prepare work schedules and assign duties to staff
- Train staff on new products and promotion as required
- Ensure adequate stock of products are on display
- Maintain inventory and place orders, deal with suppliers
- Authorize payments for products received and the return of merchandise
- Serve customers as required
- Deal with complaints or questions put by customers such as customer complaints and product/supply shortages
- Ensure health and safety requirements are met
- Manage and ensure car wash is running smoothly and resolve any issues that arise in the car wash
- Prepare reports on stock and sales
- Close POS system and assist owner in all aspects of the management of the store
Job Requirements:
- Previous retail experience in a similar industry is a must
- Extensive knowledge of the Gilbarco POS system is a must
- Completion of secondary school
