One (1) permanent full-time position of Retail Store Supervisor (NOC 62010) is available at 2659713 Ontario Inc. o/a Esso located at 10 Lakeside Drive, Thessalon, ON, P0R 1L0.
Main Duties to be completed as per the lead statement of NOC 62010:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the retail store attendants/storekeepers while responsible for managing the shift operations of convenience store.
- Assign duties and prepare work schedules for sales/merchandise workers.
- Manage staff members and assign duties to them for stocking, cleaning, labeling, and displaying merchandise.
- Attending customers in person/over the phone and resolving customer complaints on time when needed.
- Maintaining sufficient inventory and ordering routine merchandise.
- Assisting in new staff hiring, and training of sales skills.
- Prepare reports regarding sales volumes daily, tracking the sales yearly, merchandising and personnel matters, and purchase/sale entries & submit them to the Manager.
- Monitor local competitors.
- Handle cash and receipts for the sale of merchandise by performing duties such as counting the float, balancing cash, providing change, sorting, and securing cash.
- Perform the duties of the person supervised, as and when required.
Requirements:
Minimum Six (6) months of experience.
Completion of Secondary School required.
Wage Rate : $20.15/hour
Hours : 40 Hours/week
