Salary: $46.15 per hour for 30 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of project to ensure that goals or objectives of company are accomplished within prescribed time frame
  • Leading and managing the team of construction workers, general contractors, sub-contractors and online staff.
  • Monitor project finances, control costs, and ensure adherence to the budget.
  • Establish objectives for the company and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Building and leading a high-performing project management and construction team.
  • Assigning responsibilities, managing workloads and optimizing the allocation of personnel and equipment.
  • Ensure and conduct inspections to verify work quality standards and regulatory requirements are followed.
  • Implement and ensure safety protocols to ensure secure working environment.
  • Generating and reviewing financials reports to assess project profitability and financial performance.
  • Identify and assess potential risks to assess project timeliness, budgets and quality.
  • Plan, allocate, hire and train staff as per the company needs and requirements.

  

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is often required.
  • Extensive experience of 5 years or more in the construction industry is essential.
  • A strong understanding of construction processes, codes, regulations, and safety standards is crucial.
  • The ability to lead and manage construction teams effectively, including subcontractors and laborers, is vital.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in budget management, cost control, and financial analysis is important for overseeing project finances.
  • Knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and permitting processes is essential to ensure projects meet legal requirements.
  • A commitment to safety and the ability to implement and enforce safety protocols on construction sites.
