CARPENTER REQUIRED Employer: PRO WAY CONSTRUCTION LTD. located at 140 street Surrey British Columbia, Canada. Job Position: Construction Carpenter Job Type: Full-time, permanent Joining date: as soon as possible Vacancy: 1 Wage Rate and hours: $32.00 per hour, 40 hours per week Work Location: various locations across Lower Mainland Area, BC. Work area: Commercial and Residential Construction projects Language: English Education: not required. Experience: 1-2 years experience in this trade is required. Note: Job seekers with no prior experience but if have completed this trade’s certificate/diploma will be accepted for this job. Job duties: Measure, cut, shape and smooth lumber to manufacture mouldings, flooring, railings etc. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Prepare layouts as per building codes Proper use of hand and power tools Measure, cut, assemble and join material made of wood, lightweight steel and other materials Utilize nails, hammers, screws, and drills in the coupling of structural components Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub flooring and erect walls and roof systems Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Maintain, repair and renovate residential construction projects and wooden structures and wooden structures as required for commercial and residential projects Ensure propre storage of construction materials at the end of each shift Perform job as per city codes and project requirements Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding construction work Apply: Please apply by submitting resume at the following email: prowayconstructionltd@gmail.com Please note that this job is only for those who can legally work in Canada.
