Location: 362 Bloor Street W., Toronto, Ontario, M5X 1S6

Position: Restaurant Manager  

Job Duties :

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
  • Hire and train kitchen staff and counter on the middle eastern cuisine 
  • Monitor staff performance and terminate for cause 
  • Ensure maintenance and safety of all kitchen and food production equipment 
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service, Recruit, train and supervise staff
  • Cost products and services, Organize and maintain inventory at levels which avoid shortage and waste
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
  • You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist staff in preparation of shawarma skewers

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the fast-food restaurant management
  • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Excellent oral communication, Reliability, Organized, Dependability, Team player
  • Able to lift heavy loads up to 70lbs
  • Able to communicate in English  

Position is available and open to Students, Youth, Indigenous people and Newcomers to Canada.

Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Language: English

Wage: $24.50/Hourly 40 hours weekly

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

Work Experience: 5 years + Middle Eastern fast food Restaurant, expertise in the Middle Eastern Cuisine, Mastery of Shawarma preparations, stacking, cooking and carving
