The successful individual will report directly to their assigned Team Leader.  This position requires a general laborer to take up manual labor tasks and support operations in our manufacturing plant. The individual must be mechanically inclined, be able to multitask, and must be willing to undertake any role assigned to them.

What does success look like?

Success for this position is an extremely positive individual with a good attitude and is able to work well under minimal supervision. The individual is well organized, responsible, and very confident in their own abilities. 

Duties & responsibilities:        

  • Use of various power tools and machinery
  • Light to heavy lifting up to 75 pounds
  • Maintain a clean workstation and production floor
  • Basic Welding
  • Use of basic measuring tools
  • Assist welders, finishers or other tradespeople on the shop floor
  • Handle and transport materials and equipment

This position will evolve and additional duties and responsibilities may be added or modified as required throughout the course of employment.

Required skills:

  • Willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
  • Ability to contribute in a team work environment
  • Ability to contribute to a safe and organized work environment
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Able to work while wearing all safety gear and obey safety rules of the shop
  • Able to work under minimal supervision
  • Able to work in various heights
  • Clear and concise communication skills
