Job Description:
- Plan, develop and implement purchasing policy and procedures for our 6 restaurants in Chilliwack, Mission & Surrey.
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines etc.
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
- Coordinating with Restaurant Managers to determine and manage inventory needs of individual restaurants.
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards.
- Authorize the development of specifications for products used in restaurant.
- Review and process claims against suppliers
- Advise management & Implement improvements to existing purchasing processes and delivery systems
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Basic English communication skills
- Education: Secondary School
- 2-3 years of experience in related field
