Job Title: Painter Helper
Job Location: Varies from contract to contract.
Job Duties:
• Load and unload paint materials and move materials to work areas.
• Mixing paint according to the needs and guidance of the painter, such as adding linseed oil or other solvents to create paints for metal surfaces.
• Cleaning paintbrushes, rollers, and other tools used for painting.
• Installing finished products such as cabinets, shelves, doors, or windows once the paint job is done.
• Clean and sand surfaces to prepare them for painting.
• Clean up after painting, including removing tape and supplies.
• Preparing surfaces for painting by scraping off old paint.
• Priming surfaces with paint prime.
• Assist painter in painting activities.
• Cleaning up after the job is finished, including sweeping up floors and cleaning equipment used on the job site.
• Perform other activities at job site as directed.
