Tandoori Tadka and Sweets located at Unit 5, 32442 George Ferguson Way, Abbotsford, BC, V2T 4Y4 is looking for a Chef for their Indian restaurant. Applicant must have a minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Pay will be $38.50 per hour. This is a full-time job with 30-40 hours per week of work.
Main job duties include:
– Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
– Create new recipes
– Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
– Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
– Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions
– Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
– Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
