Job Brief:
Sabzi Mandi is looking for an experienced and dynamic Retail Store Manager with good leadership skills to join its team at the earliest, responsible for managing the retail staff within a business. Coordinates the shipping of goods, sets up displays and assists customers and staff during business hours.
Job Duties:
- Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers to ensure that they complete their assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
- Sell merchandise to customers
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
- Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
- Work with the cash register when needed and change signage in the store to reflect any in-store promotions
- Formulate pricing policies and ensure pricing is correct
- Analyze operating and financial statements for profitability ratios
- Utilize information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning
- Manage different departments within the store
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
Other Job Requirements:
- Language: English is a requirement
- Education: Completion of High School is required
- Experience: 2 – 3 years of experience within the retail sector or previous experience as a retail supervisor will be considered
