CO-UP AUTO BODY REPAIR is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario.
Position Details

- Wage: $37.00–$40.00 per hour, to be negotiated
- Hours: 30–40 hours per week

Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 to less than 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in auto repair/welding
- Ability to communicate in English
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret welding process specifications;
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manual and processes.
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and specifications.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipments.
- Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal;
- Determine weldability of materials;
- Perform structural welding repairs on vehicle bodies, frames, and metal components.
- Work of arc, metal inert gas(MIG), and gas welding procedures, tools, and equipment
- Finding the right pieces of metal according to the design.
- Assess, identify welding surface to fill gaps.
Work Conditions
The position involves a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment, including repetitive tasks, handling loads of up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and requires strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
