Responsibilities
Tasks
· Evaluate clients’ hair and scalp health, identifying concerns and recommending suitable care.
· Perform haircuts and trims based on client instructions, preferences, and desired outcomes.
· Administer personalized hair and scalp treatments.
· Provide shampooing and conditioning services.
· Shape, shave, and trim beards and moustaches.
· Deliver additional services such as waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp-conditioning massage.
· Apply lighteners, toners, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair.
· Affix and blend hair extensions.
· Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
· Recommend hairstyles that complement clients’ physical features, lifestyle, and preferences.
· Monitor inventory levels and order salon supplies.
