Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description

Hon's Wun-Tun House (2011) Ltd. is seeking one (1) full-time, permanent Supervisor, Food and Beverage Processing to supervise and co-ordinate food processing operations at our Richmond, British Columbia facility.

Responsibilities

  • Minimize hazards at all stages of the food production process.
  • Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
  • Prepare production and other reports.
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule, and possibly review, activities of workers.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience.
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Quality assurance or control experience.

Supervision

  • Supervise process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing.
  • Responsible for supervising 50-100 people.
