Japan Consulting Corporation is looking for a permanent full-time Restaurant Manager at its JAPADOG Robson store location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Recruit staff and oversee staff training
- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
- Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Education, skills and experience required:
- Completion of Secondary School
- Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is preferred but not required
- At least 3 years of work experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience
- Ability to maintain high-quality control standards under high pressure and fast paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking skills
Language:
- Communication skills in English
Compensation and Benefit:
$38.40/hour, 4% vacation pay, Tips, Staff meals and Staff discount.
