Chef

 

FLAVOURS OF INDIA an Indian Restaurant, located at 305 Victoria Ave East, Regina, SK, S4N 0N6, Canada is looking for a full-time Chef. The candidate must have at least a High School Education. The applicant is also required to have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Pay per hour will be $34.65 per hour . This is a full-time position for at least 30-40 hours a week. We will also consider candidates who wish to work part-time only.

Some of the job duties are listed below, which are not limited to:

• Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
• Estimate labour costs
• Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
• Create new recipes
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
• Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
• Recruit and hire staff
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
