LONGARES GLOBAL OPERATIONS ULC, operating as LOGO CARGO, is hiring a permanent, full-time Branch Manager for its Calgary branch. LOGO CARGO provides Balikbayan box shipping, shipment tracking, branch customer service, and customer support for Canada/U.S.-to-Philippines remittance services.

Work Location: Calgary, Alberta, T1Y 7K5, Canada
Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Wage: $50.82 CAD per hour, based on Job Bank Canada median wage information for the Calgary Region under NOC 70020 – Managers in transportation. This wage aligns with the Branch Manager role and the position’s transportation, logistics, and branch-management duties.
Payment: Bi-weekly by direct deposit; statutory entitlements as required by law.
Job duties and responsibilities
- Manage Calgary branch operations for Balikbayan box shipping, shipment tracking, customer service, and customer support for remittance services.
- Supervise staff handling cargo intake, documentation, customer accounts, payments, and tracking inquiries.
- Coordinate pickup, receiving, sorting, storage, dispatch, and handover with drivers, branches, and shipping partners.
- Monitor records, tracking updates, customer notifications, budgets, supplies, and service targets.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures for cargo handling, payments, customer information, safety, and records.
- Resolve customer concerns about boxes, shipment status, delivery coordination, branch service, and customer support for remittance services.
Employment Requirements
- College or university degree in sciences, business administration, commerce, management, or a related business field is required.
- Demonstrated managerial experience in staff supervision, customer service operations, scheduling, budgeting, issue resolution, and performance management is required.
- Experience in cargo, logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, branch operations, remittance services, or related customer service leadership is an asset.
- Knowledge of Balikbayan box services, shipment tracking, payment handling, or Philippines-focused customer service is an asset.
- Must work full-time on site in Calgary. Language of work: English.
