Job Position – Supervisor, press - printing with some duties as a flexographic operator - printing

Wage - $36.92 hourly for 30 to 35 hours per Week

Term of employment- Permanent employment, Full-time

Shift- Night

Start Date - as soon as possible.

Education – Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience – 3 years to less than 5 years

On Site - Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment – Noisy

Work setting – Commercial or in-house printers. In-house printing or binding

Responsibilities –

Tasks

• Supervise workers and projects
• Oversee apprenticeship training
• Train or arrange for training
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Provide technical and professional advice
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Set up and make adjustments to printing machines

 

Supervision

• 5-10 people
• Camera, platemaking and other pre-press occupations
• Printing machine operators
• Printing press operators

 

Experience and specialization

Exhibit preparation experience - Mounting/installing objects
