Doorway Dynamics is seeking an experienced Door Installer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, adjusting, repairing, and maintaining commercial doors and related components, with particular emphasis on aluminum doors and storefront systems.

Main Duties
- Read and interpret measurements, drawings, specifications, and installation instructions to determine the proper installation requirements.
- Measure and inspect door openings to ensure accurate fit and alignment.
- Install aluminum doors, aluminum storefront systems, frames, and related components.
- Install and adjust door hardware, including hinges, locks, handles
- Install and fit glass panels and other components associated with aluminum storefront and commercial door systems, where required.
- Prepare door openings and frames for installation, including removing existing doors and hardware when required.
- Cut, drill, fasten, level, plumb, and adjust aluminum frames and door components using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Ensure doors are properly aligned and operate smoothly and securely after installation.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance of door systems.
- Follow building codes, manufacturer specifications, workplace safety procedures, and industry standards.
- Maintain and safely operate tools and equipment used for door installation.
- Travel to customer locations and commercial construction sites within Calgary and surrounding areas as required.
- Complete installation work efficiently while maintaining the company's quality standards.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
Secondary (High) school diploma
Demonstrated experience and practical knowledge working with aluminum doors and aluminum storefront systems.
Ability to accurately measure, level, align, and install door frames and components.
Experience using common hand and power tools required for door installation.
Ability to read and follow installation instructions, drawings, and measurements.
