We are currently searching for one (1)  Jewellery Store Manager.

 

The Jewellery Store Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the jewellery store and supporting the company’s management. This position involves key responsibilities such as sales leadership, client relationship management, staff supervision, inventory control, scheduling, and budget oversight. By providing exceptional customer service, coordinating store activities, managing documentation, and ensuring efficient sales operations, the Jewellery Store Manager helps uphold the company’s reputation, values, and luxury standards.

 

Work Setting: 

Jewellery Store/Dufferin Mall

 

Duties:

• Manage staff and assign duties
• Evaluate daily operations
• Implement price and credits policies
• Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Direct and control daily operations
• Determine merchandise and services to be sold
• Conduct performance reviews
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Establish work schedules
• Oversee receiving, storage, display and security procedures for valuable merchandise
• Coordinate with suppliers and address merchandise or supply-related issues

 

Applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive experience   to build strong relationships with customers and provide personalized service.

 

You will be required to train apprentices.

Terms of Employment:

Permanent Full time - 30 hours per week

 

Hours of work:

Tuesdays to Saturdays from 3 pm to 8 pm.

Sundays: 1 pm to 6 pm

 

Language of work:

English

 

Salary:

CAD$ 43.27 per hour

 

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail management or a supervisory role
• College diploma in business management or another field related to the product or service being sold may be required
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Willingness to assist other team members and work collaboratively
• Trustworthiness and discretion in handling sensitive merchandise
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling high-value merchandise
• Minimum 2 years of experience in jewellery, luxury goods, or high-value retail is required
