We are a reliable source for any restaurant equipment and supplies the businesses need. We require an experience Appliance Service Technician (NOC 72421) to manage the ongoing need for equipment maintenance and service.

Work Location: On-site: Breslau, ON, N0B 1M0
Salary: $44.50 hourly
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment: Permanent, full-time
Schedule: Evening, shift, morning, on call, day and weekend; Overtime available
Start date: As soon as possible

Requirements

Languages: English

Preferred Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Asset Languages: Arabic, Turkish

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints to determine work requirements
• Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain specialized commercial kitchen equipment imported from Turkey and the Middle East.
• Service proprietary machines including pide ovens, manakish ovens, lahmacun ovens, shawarma & doner machines, yufka machines, lokma machines, double-blade food processors, and similar equipment and Replace faulty components
• Perform emergency on-site repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize client downtime.
• Interpret technical manuals (often in Turkish), source specialized parts, and ensure compliance with Canadian safety standards.
• Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
• Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances
• Set up and operate various specialized binding equipment and machines
• Service gas heating units and their components
• Provide high-quality customer service to our restaurant and food service clients.
