About the Position

EAGLE MART is seeking an experienced and motivated Gas Station and Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our gas station and retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, inventory, sales, customer service, financial performance, merchandising, and overall store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and control the daily operations of the gas station and retail store.
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate daily store operations to ensure efficient and profitable business performance.
• Manage, supervise, schedule, and assign duties to employees and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Determine the merchandise, products, and services to be offered based on customer demand, sales performance, and market conditions.
• Establish and implement pricing, discount, payment, and credit policies in accordance with company objectives.
• Develop and implement marketing, promotional, and merchandising strategies to increase sales and strengthen the store's market presence.
• Plan and prepare operating budgets and monitor revenues, expenditures, costs, and overall financial performance.
• Analyze sales and operational results and implement measures to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Determine current and future staffing requirements and participate in recruitment, selection, hiring, training, and performance management of employees.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, and provide direction to store staff and other personnel as required.
• Resolve customer requests, complaints, operational concerns, supply shortages, and other issues arising during daily operations.
• Coordinate purchasing and maintain adequate inventory levels to ensure continuous availability of merchandise and supplies.
• Monitor inventory, sales, cash handling, loss prevention, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure the store, gas station facilities, equipment, and merchandise are maintained in accordance with operational and safety standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers regarding merchandise, deliveries, equipment, and supply requirements.
• Review and maintain operational records, sales reports, inventory records, and other management reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, employment, and business regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service, sales, operational efficiency, and profitability.
• Perform other management duties related to the operation of the gas station and retail store.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Retail Management, or a related discipline.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant management or retail supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage employees, budgets, inventory, sales, and daily business operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail and gas station environment.
