Job Opportunity – Kitchen Helper
Position: Kitchen Helper
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Vacancies: 1
Wage: $ 18.25 per hour (40 hours per week)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities
- Wash, peel, slice, and cut fresh vegetables, fruits, and other food ingredients using manual and electric kitchen equipment for the preparation of burritos, tacos and other menu items.
- Assist cooks and other food service staff with basic food preparation and kitchen duties.
- Prepare and heat simple food items following established recipes, portion sizes, and food safety standards.
- Portion, wrap, label, and package takeout and delivery orders as directed by kitchen staff.
- Receive, unpack, and store food products and kitchen supplies in refrigerators, and storage areas using proper food storage procedures.
- Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchenware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
- Remove kitchen garbage and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors and storage areas.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
Employment Requirements
- No previous experience required. Training will be provided.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Ability to work in a hot, humid, and physically demanding kitchen environment.
