Key Responsibility

• Clean the crop and deleaf agricultural crops to accelerate ripening
• Greenhouse cleaning
• Mixing fertilizer
• Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides
• Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants
• Mix and prepare soils
• Pot and re-pot plants
• Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
• Apply fertilizers
• Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Clean work area

 

Qualification & Skills

• Prefer to have at least some secondary school education.
• Previous work experience is an asset.
• Some physical strength is required to handler equipment and heavy loads.
• Have good time management skills to prioritize assignments.
• Must be able to follow safety policies, protocol and procedures accordingly.

$17.60 - $18.00 per hour, 40 hours per week
