Top Coat Painting (Top Coat Design Group Inc.) has various jobsites near downtown Victoria in BC. We are looking for 2 Painters to join our team.
Position: Painter
Wage: C$ 27.50 hourly
Working Hours: 30-40 hours working / week (to be negotiated)
Vacation Pay: 4% of gross salary
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: Various locations in Victoria, BC

Job duties:
- Read specifications to determine quantities of materials required.
- Move ladders, paint cans, and other painting equipment.
- Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted.
- Repair cracks and holes using proper materials.
- Apply primers or sealers when needed.
- Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, rollers and variety of tools.
- Mix paint to desired colour and texture.
- Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
- Apply paint and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Checking inventory, ordering paint and other supplies when needed.
- Follow the workplace safety rules.
- Clean-up worksite debris.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school.
- Experience is an asset.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
